ICI's Positioning and General Q&A – Service, Support and Delivery

ICI leverages abundant market supply resources in Greater China to assist enterprise IT professionals across Asia-Pacific and globally in acquiring optimal resources - software/hardware, talent, and knowledge - at reliable quality and low cost. Our mission is to enable large-scale organizations in telecoms, internet services, mobile communications, AI development, finance, manufacturing industries, and beyond to achieve sustainable business optimization.
Question: How to Handle RMA Without Local Support?
  1. For Non-Urgent Cases: ICI provides an 8x5xNBD (Next Business Day) response service. Upon receiving customer notification, replacement parts are dispatched from Beijing, China, on the next business day via international courier or parcel services. In certain countries or regions, buyer cooperation may be required for customs clearance or delivery.
  2. For Critical Projects: ICI provides additional cold spares for critical components, stored at the customer or end-user site. In case of failure, customers can immediately replace the faulty part with the cold spare. ICI will arrange for a freight forwarder to collect the defective part and subsequently send the official replacement part using the procedure described in point 1.
  3. On-Site Coordination with Engineers: For specific projects, ICI prepares engineering support in advance. If required, ICI can dispatch in-house engineers from the nearest office (e.g., Phnom Penh, Cambodia, for Southeast Asia) to provide on-site technical support.
Question: Can ICI Provide Technical Support?
ICI offers comprehensive technical support across Greater China (Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan with local partners) and all Southeast Asian countries and regions through its extensive partner network. ICI has a team of over 10 senior systems engineers capable of supporting:
  • Enterprise IP Networks: MPLS/IP, Metro Ethernet, enterprise-grade IP and WLAN networks, voice networks.

  • Information Security: Advanced cybersecurity solutions.
  • AI/ML/DL/HPC Systems: Design and deployment of high-performance computing and machine learning platforms.
Question: How to Contact Professional Technical Personnel?
All ICI engineers work directly with customers. Feel free to contact us to obtain the contact details of our technical personnel and let’s always maintain open communication.
Question: Delivery Methods and Lead Times?
  • In-Stock Items: Typically shipped directly from Beijing, China.
  • Bulk Shipments: Generally transported via CIP or door-to-door shipping; smaller items may use international courier services.
  • Large or Heavy Low-Value Items: Usually shipped via sea or rail freight.
  • Lead Times for In-Stock Items: Prepared within one week and shipped from Beijing; air freight within Asia-Pacific typically takes 1–3 weeks.

ICI 3rd Party Procurement (3PP) Service

The world’s rapid changes require enterprises to accurately understand their environment, execute right strategies, and match them with proper resources - people, equipment, product lines, processes, services, etc. Spending money is easy, but determining the right direction and preparing according resources is difficult. Therefore, enterprises need a broader perspective on their environment, a deeper understanding of resources, and long-term insights into their own problems while minimizing costs.

A major problem is that everyone has path dependence, and no enterprise is omniscient. When an organization's strategy or methodology needs significant adjustments and quick matching with new resources, the existing resource system often fail. For example, IBM's failure in PC operating systems, Nokia's failure in modern smartphones, and almost all major fuel car manufacturers' failure in electric vehicles, not to mention the lack of basic knowledge in law, standards, information security, and global markets among numerous small and medium-sized enterprises, leading to massive failures in scaling.

At the macro level, forming a relatively reliable strategic understanding is no longer difficult. Through big data, think tanks’ professional consulting services, and the latest AI large language models (LLM) with real-time searching and reasoning processes (such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude), the likelihood of corporate executives making low-level mistakes on strategy level has greatly decreased. In other words, the macro-level vision has never been so clear like today.

The key issues are at the mid-micro levels - how to quickly clarify facts and identifying reliable resources?
1. Insufficient and scattered data - much data is missing, unreliable, and scattered across various competing platforms.
2. Lack of advanced philosophical ideas and a unified perspective to observe and describe other resource entities.
3. Difficulty in determining the depth and reliability of data, and lack of tools to prompting or enriching missing data.
4. Difficulty to store, integrate, deduplicate, and share data - most major data platforms are controlled by giant technology
vendors, and none of these tools or even the data truly belong to the enterprises.
5. Existing resource partners face similar mid-low-level issues, causing enterprises to fall into an information bubble.

ICI's 3rd Party Procurement (3PP) service can help you quickly and reliably complete the following tasks:
1. Utilize the latest AI to quickly clarify basic facts and find the best resource enterprises globally and regionally.
2. Use the patented FieldFlint® tool to quickly clarify internal personnel information within the enterprise team.
3. Integrate all popular open-source intelligence (OSINT) sources and authorized data to maximize the credibility of data on mid-micro level.
4. Conduct in-depth investigations based on specific situations and provide comprehensive project management or resource procurement suggestions in flexible formats.
5. Subsequent to above free-of-charge and end-to-end transparent services,
(1) If you prefer utilizing ICI as your procurement agent, ICI only charges a standard rate of flat 6% of contract value.
(2) If you prefer not to procure through ICI, you can also purchase directly, without any hidden implications.
(3) Fees for other logistics, cash flow, technical services, etc., beyond standard procurement, are calculated separately

Generally, ICI's 3PP does not restrict resources of industries or products. ICI is committed to providing timely, reliable, affordable, open, resource researching, procurement, and matching services to global enterprises, meeting your needs to quickly clarify facts and lock in the best resources at the mid-micro levels.
